Senior Services Program
provides noon meals and transportation to anyone 60 years or older. The Senior Nutrition Program provides hot nutritious meals, five days a week, Monday through Friday at 9 sites within the city and 3 sites in the county. Door to door transportation is available. In addition to the meals there are a variety of other activities, both recreational and educational, offered. Voluntary contributions are requested toward the cost of the meal.

Through the Senior Transportation Program, anyone 60 years or older, is transported from their home to the Nutrition site. Transportation is also provided to area grocery stores, to medical appointments, and to personal appointments. There is a suggested donation for transportation and meals. To participate, reservations must be made one day in advance by contacting Andrea at the number below.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Senior Center is a meal site for the Senior Nutrition Program. It is also an activity center and a place for individuals, 60 years and older, to meet friends, relax and participate. The Center is open from Monday through Friday, by appointment only.
