Welcome to the Senior Nutrition Program

 

There are two programs with Client Guidelines:

 

 

Reservations are required 24 hours in advance

To reserve a meal or for meal times call the Nutrition Office at 428-4148

Transportation is provided to meal sites - a donation is requested Reservations for transportation are needed 24 hours in advance

Meals are not available on the following holidays:

Serves a nutritious noon meal to persons (60 and older) weekdays at various locations in Decatur and Macon County. Reservation are required and site locations are listed below.

The Home Delivered Meals Program

Serves a nutritious noon meal to person (60 and older) weekdays in certain areas of Decatur and Macon County. The client must be homebound, unable to prepare a meal, and no one to assist them. The Client will be assessed by the Nutrition Staff. Meals are delivered by staff and volunteers weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Be ready for your meal and prepared to open the door when the delivery arrives. They will identify themselves by knocking and calling out "Nutrition Program."
