Serving Decatur and Macon County for over 50 years

Since 1964 DMCOC has been providing stability to Decatur and Macon County. DMCOC has accomplished this through a wide variety of programs designed to support the community. DMCOC is growing and we are looking for new programs and partnerships to maintain the stability for our clients and to better support the community.

You Can Help

We thrive on support from the community. If you like the programs and initiatives we’re involved in at DMCOC, click below to find some ways to contribute.

The Annual WAND/Senior Center Fan Drive will kick off with a one day event on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Walmart North in Decatur from 7am to 1pm. We urge everyone to come to the WAND tent that will be near the front entrance of Wal-Mart and donate a fan. We do need volunteers to help man the tent with WAND staff. The Senior Center will have fans to distribute to those in need during the summer months. If you are 55 years or older and have not received a fan in the past two years and are low income (monthly income of $1508 for a household of one or $2,030 for 2 persons), stop by the Senior Center to see if you qualify. One fan per household is the limit. These fans will only be distributed to low income persons 55 years of age and older. The Decatur and Macon County community is generous enough to donate fans to be used by low income elderly residents. They are not to be given out and then sold. If anyone is found to have obtained a fan and then sold that fan they will never be eligible for another fan. We are not providing replacement fans for fans given out last year. ... See MoreSee Less
