DMCOC update to COVID-19
Due to Covid-19, our lobby will now be closed to all clients until further notice.
All scheduled LIHEAP appointments will be completed by phone on the day of your appointment until further notice. If you have questions regarding this, please call (217) 428-2193.
The LIHEAP program will be assisting clients with Power Bills by taking appointments on a 1st come, 1st served basis.
Please call us at (217) 428-2193 to get an appointment.
All appointments will be done over the phone by the head of household.
Please have all required documentation available for your appointment when you receive our call, in order to receive help quickly. No applications will be processed and/or approved without all proper documentation.
Once your phone appointment is completed you will be required to provide documentation before we can process your application. You are also required to download this Universal Signature Page or pick one up from the table outside the lobby, sign and date it and return with your documents.
If you are submitting physical documents for an application, you will need to bring copies of original documents to the office, place them in one of the manila envelopes provided in the hallway, then slide them under the door. At this time, we will not be making copies of your documents.
If you have any questions please call us at (217) 428-0155.
