DMCOC update to COVID-19
Beginning Wednesday, April 1, 2020, we will be taking applications for LIHEAP by phone on a 1st come, 1st served basis. You can call 217-428-0155 and our receptionist will take your name, phone number, and basic information and schedule a time for one of our Energy Services Specialist to call you back to complete your application.
Once your application is submitted you will need to bring in all required documentation (copies not originals), and sign a Universal Signature Page which will be available in our front entrance. We will provide you with envelopes that you can utilize to put your copies in and slide under our lobby door. You can also take photos of your documentation and send them to our email atLIHEAP@dmcoc.org. If after 4:30 p.m. you can drop off copies to our mail slot. If you have any questions please call us at 217-428-0155.
Items clients must have on the day of their appointments:
- Social Security Cards for the entire household
- Current Power Bill
- Income for the household for the past 30 days (all SSI, SSA, Wages, TANF, Pensions, etc)
- Medical Cards/Medicare Cards (if applicable)
- Link Card (if applicable)
- Current rent receipt or proof of homeownership
