Senior Transportation
The Senior Transportation program is for seniors age 60 and over throughout the City of Decatur, Forsyth, Mt. Zion and Harristown.
For a $5.00 fare, our staff will pick you up at your residence and transport you for your congregate lunch, shopping and/or medical needs.

Reservations
Please allow the courtesy of a 24-hour reservation in order to coordinate our planning. Reservations can be made by calling 428-4148 or 422-0735 and speak to one of our staff members. Additionally, reservations may be made after hours by leaving a message with your name, address, telephone number, date and destination information on our answering system.
Medical Appointments
The Senior Transportation program strives to accommodate as many medical transportation appointments as possible. Qualifying medical appointments include medical, vision, and dental exams, lab work, hospital visits, therapy, dialysis, and prescription pick-ups. All transportation must originate no earlier than 10:00 AM and conclude by 2:00 PM (Monday through Friday). Please keep these hours in mind when you are scheduling appointments.
Vehicle
The DMCOC bus accommodates up to 14 passengers and is handicap accessible. Riders needing assistance are allowed one escort at no additional charge.
The Elderly Transportation Program is funded by client contributions.
For a $5.00 round-trip fare, you can have the convenience of transportation to/from your appointments.
